In the Cinque Terre, you will find a variety of shops catering to your shopping needs, offering souvenirs, often with a nautical theme, jewelry, classic and sportswear, trekking apparel, decorative items, and local products.
Warning: many souvenirs are manufactured in China, Taiwan, or India, along with numerous clothing items. Additionally, some food products marketed as local may actually originate from nearby areas, rather than the Cinque Terre itself. A notable example is extra virgin olive oil; be sure to read the label carefully, as you may discover that many of the extra virgin olive oils sold in the Cinque Terre are made from olives harvested elsewhere.
