Riomaggiore - Manarola
(La Via dell'Amore)
Trail length m 1112
Altitude
m 0
Time 00:30h

This stretch is known as via dell'amore and is a entirely paved walk overlooking the sea which allows in a very short time to reach the village of Manarola from that of Riomaggiore, showing significant panoramic views. It was made in the rock in the years 1926-1928, exploiting the acrobatic paths of the quarrymen who built the La Spezia-Genova railway at the end of the 19th century. In the short stretch of the Battery, the way of love runs on the vault of the railway gallery.
The entrances of Riomaggiore and Manarola are located near the railway stations, the reception and information centers of the park.

From here, it follows the Birolli promenade and begins to ascend. Shortly after, the trail levels out and follows the outline of the Corniglia beach. Before reaching the village, to cross the unstable stony beach, there is a section equipped with a Tibetan bridge. You then enter the Corniglia train station and from there, a staircase leads you into the village.

Corniglia - Vernazza

Trail length m 4137
Altitude m 269 Time 01:45h

After passing the parish church of San Pietro and Paolo, the street that traverses Corniglia can be found on the left, while the path continues to the right.
You will cross a bridge over the rio della Groppa. The trail then meanders through the Conca di Guvano before ascending towards the village of Prevo, where you can take a break in the Farm Shop of Azienda Agricola Sentiero Azzurro. The path continues descending towards the staircase that leads to the coastal area of Macereto. From this location, the 507 Vernazza-Cigoletta route begins to the right.
592-4 (SVA2)
Vernazza - Monterosso

Trail length m 3668
Altitude m 217
Time 02:15h

The path enters the historic center of the town of Vernazza, crosses the road axis and then dates back the village for an alley overlying the church of Santa Margherita d'Antochia (XIV century). It is therefore climbed steeply into the coast cultivated with olive trees and vineyards, and runs through the Riolo valley and Costa Pinerano. The track then proceeds at altitude along the Cravar Valle and Costa Linaro. You then enter the AcquaPenante Valley where you find cultivations of screws, olive trees, citrus fruits. We approach Monterosso and you notice the lemon crops sometimes protected by the wind by high walls. We then arrive above the rocky spur of Punta Corone and finally in the town of Monterosso.
