The Paths

For centuries, the only means of connecting the five villages, along with La Spezia and its neighboring regions, was through these historic trails.

In contemporary times, these routes are regarded as one of the finest ways to discover and appreciate the splendor of the area.
The three primary trails are suitable for individuals with moderate fitness levels, provided they are appropriately attired, and are clearly marked by the CAI of La Spezia with red and white signage.
The first trail traverses the ridge that divides Val di Vara.
The second trail, referred to as the Santuari (Sanctuaries) path, links the various places of worship within the villages.
The third trail, numbered 592 - SVA (1-2-3), commonly known as Sentiero Azzuro (Blue Path), connects all towns.

Hamlet Prevo Vernazza

It is the highest and amazing spot of "Sentiero Azzurro" (Blue Path) in halfway between Corniglia and Vernazza, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view on tuscany archipelago with the islands of Elba, Gorgona, Capraia and the  Corse (France).

The hamlet is secluded from the hustle and bustle but also within reach of everything you need.
It is the most panoramic peak of the Sentiero Azzurro at 208 meters above sea level.

The villages

Cinque Terre, or Five Lands if you prefer, is a picturesque coastal region located in Liguria, in the northwestern part of Italy. It is situated to the west of La Spezia Province and consists of five charming villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.
The coastline, along with the five villages and the adjacent hills, is encompassed within a National Park that has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
One of the primary concerns for travelers is where to stay in Cinque Terre.

Within our properties, a votive shrine has been established in honor of Blessed Maria Gabriella Sagheddu, who is a maternal relative of our family.

She was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1983 for Christian unity and in 2018 Pope Francis cited her as an example of giving one's life for the cause of Christian unity in the apostolic exhortation "Gaudete et Exsultate".

The owners of this house, descendants in the maternal line of the Beata Maria Gabriella Sagheddu, have decided to build a votive shrine in Prevo.
